The latest edition of Buzz from Beasing is now posted at jacobsmedia.com. In every issue, I offer commentary on several pop culture and marketing topics that reflect our changing times and are, we hope, of interest and useful to you. In the month or two in-between, a stack of articles and notes awaits the next Buzz. In just a short time, that pile has threatened to completely overtake the LA office of Jacobs Media. I've gone from worrying about having enough to write about during the column's early days to now being completely overwhelmed by the volume of material.
Although this Buzz contains thoughts on some of the accumulated items, it leaves out the biggest trend of all: The increasing speed with which these trends are developing. Staying informed and relevant to the changing lifestyles of your customers and audience has gotten to be a daunting task.
If that causes you to be excited, stressed, intimidated, encouraged, scared, invigorated, puzzled, and curious about your role — you're not alone. At Jacobs Media, we run the gamut of emotions like those every day.
