As he’s headed out the door and handing off the show to Jimmy Fallon, Jay Leno takes a final shot at rival Jimmy Kimmel:
“He is a radio guy at heart.”
Jay goes onto define what he’s talking about – Kimmel’s a competitor who uses tactics like “attack(ing) the guy on the other station hoping to get into a fight with him.”
Holy Howard!
Bubba & M.J.!
And yes, it’s another sad indication that radio needs to step up its game, improve its reputation, and emphasize the things its personalities do well, rather than the sophomoric pranks, the attack dog tactics, and the “underwear on their heads” antics.
And may the most talented Jimmy win.
