Here’s a short post for this morning that simply thanks so many people who brought so much to Jacobs Summit XV in Baltimore, partnered this year with the Arbitron Client Conference.
Our speakers totally rocked, from CEA’s hard-hitting CEO Gary Shapiro, talent coach of the stars Val Geller, social mediologist guru Jessica Northey, the incomparable super-anchor and “Backchannel” star Stephen Clark, to our total pros NPR’s Michael Yoch and WTOP’s Joel Oxley, and the incomparable legend Lee Abrams. In the picture below (courtesy Radio World), you can see me presenting Gary Shapiro with a commemorative buggy whip.
Arbitron proved to be a wonderful partner and their Client Conference provided great content. And we enjoyed the chance to debut the “Director’s Cut of Goin’ Mobile,” put together by Paul Jacobs and Tim Davis at their lunch on Wednesday.
And to all of you who made the trip to Baltimore to invest in your careers, companies, and educations, thank you. We had a great crowd that was enthusiastic and engaged all morning long.
We’ll be reporting on some of the highlights of Summit XV next week.

To our friends at Jacobs Media we want to say thank you for being such terrific partners. The Arbitron Client Conference and Jacobs Media Summit rocked! The Special PPM Edition of Goin’ Mobile was outstanding, Boomer and Carton from WFAN had the audience rolling, Stephen Clark with Back Channel was amazing, Deb Esayian had wonderful content and energy and Gary Shapiro and Lee Abrahms spoke their minds and Jon Coleman provided great insight as always. Fantastic contributions from all guest speakers and a totally worthwhile experience for all 200+ industry leaders who attended. Thank you Jacobs!!!

Thanks much, Bill. You should be proud of your team. They put together a great agenda and executed it professionally. As you know, we’ve done 15 of these things and I don’t believe Paul and I have ever been so all-around pleased as were on the plane ride back home. All the best, to you and everyone at Arbitron with whom we interfaced.
