As social media has grown by leaps and bounds, many of us have had that seminal moment on Facebook – an incident that might cause you to exclaim, “HE’S on Facebook?!”
Well, that moment happened for me last year when my 81 year-old mother tried to “friend” me on Facebook. For me, it wasn’t so much a privacy issue (she has a pretty good idea of who I am and what I'm about). It was more of a principle thing – whether your mom should be your “friend.”
Now, thanks to Mashable, we can walk through Mike Newman and “Cool Material’s” fabulous flowchart to help you make that determination. OK, it’s probably geared more to Gen Y Facebook fans, but you’ll quickly get the idea – and a few laughs along the way.
Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you next week as we end the year with our second annual “Best of JacoBLOG” feature, and some seasonal posts to help keep you in the right frame of mind.
