Not a revenue generator as much as a way to goose subscriber numbers. Notice it’s not offered to NEW subscribers, just those who have dropped their service. Sirius XM often gives away free months of service to existing customers at the end of their subscription run in order to maintain subscriber numbers. And as Rick noted, there will be a rate raise in July (or sooner) which could also negatively impact subscriber counts.
