Hard to believe it’s that time of year…again.
From all of us in the Jacobs family to all of you, a sincere thank you for your business, your trust in us, and your friendship. If you’re still slugging away at this business, my hope is that you find the reward and goodness in it all. We’re lucky to be doing this – serving audiences and communities – and I think most of us know that.
Personally, this blog has been something for which I’m especially thankful. Over the past 13+ years, it has given me a rare chance to connect with many of you every day, as well as meet new people, share ideas, and (for me, at least) get a little smarter. There’s a lot being said about the highs and lows of social media and digital tools, but for me this is all good. Hopefully, you’re deriving something of value from it, too.
As has been the case over the past years, we’re taking the long weekend off to hang with friends and family, as well as recharge a bit. Hopefully, that’s on your agenda, too. Whether you’re in the malls, with your family, or travelling this weekend, best wishes for a peaceful, happy, and healthy break.
We’ll be back on Monday with fresh thinking and new content – no leftovers.

David, thanks for being a loyal reader – and a regular commenter. I love when there’s a topic that generates conversation. All the best to you and your family for a great holiday weekend. And at my place, you can always have seconds.
