While it’s about taking some time off from the grind, barbeques, graduation parties, and hanging by the pool, it’s called Memorial Day for a reason. Relax… but remember.
An urban legend about the origins of this YouTube video has emerged, specifically that a 15 year-old named Lizzie Palmer created it, that Fox News aired it, that it’s the most viewed video EVER!!!
While I can find no news accounts that back up any of that (including on the Fox News site), it’s certainly a compelling video, and one that morning shows might want to link this Memorial Day:

Well, thank goodness someone else finds something fishy about the ‘origin’ of this piece!!
I’ve emailed Fox News repeatedly asking for confirmation about any news item they may have aired regarding “Remember Me.” So far, I’ve gotten no reply.
I’ll forward any reply I get from them.
