Much of what has transpired during the past couple of years runs counter to so much of the conventional wisdom that we were all taught back in college or broadcast school. Today, ratings don't necessarily translate directly to revenue. And some very strong personalities find themselves out of work, despite having great track records. And if you are still employed, the question revolves around what are the best steps you can take to ensure some semblance of stability?
