If you're wondering what ever happened to all those gold and platinum album pictures that you sent us last month as part of the "Going for the Gold" promotion to protest the performance tax, stop wondering.
The NAB has launched a new website – https://www.noperformancetax.org.
Right there on the front page is a dynamic digital mosaic of a rocker (of course), made up of the hundreds and thousands of gold and platinum awards the labels and artists have awarded to radio over the years. You can click on the photo, using the + and – tool, to zoom in on any part to see how it all came together.
Spend enough time with it, and you might just run into one of your station's photos.
Once again, thanks to all of you who pitched in, and to the NAB, for putting this together. Now let's hope that Congress gets the message.

In 2013, the DASH Conference was created - a mashup of radio and automotive, designed to foster better understanding of the "connected car" and its impact.
Along with providing the creative and intellectual direction for the company, Fred consults many of Jacobs Media's commercial and public radio clients, in addition to media brands looking to thrive in the rapidly changing tech environment.
Fred was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2018.
