That’s how it feels from here, as we announce our 11th Jacobs Summit, this time in cahoots with R&R and the NAB. As you probably know, those august organizations have combined forces to schedule their conventions in the same hotel in Dallas in mid-September. As has always been the case, there will be no registration fee to attend our sessions.
To be exact, this Summit will kick off Tuesday afternoon, September 19th, and wrap up around noon on Wednesday morning, September 20th. For Jacobs clients, count on some type of social activity on Tuesday night.
Last year, our sojourn to Cleveland was a huge success. We featured industry luminaries like David Field and Peter Smyth, the rantings and ravings of Little Steven, and killer panels that took on topics as diverse as What Men Want, 360 Degrees of Technology, and What’s UP With Rock.
The changes in our business dictate that we continue to book compelling speakers, talent, and experts who can help us better understand the opportunities and threats facing radio. And the great news about Summit 11? Scheduling it in September gives us an extra few months to prepare.
So, save those dates – September 19 & 20, as well as the rest of that week for the R&R/NAB. We’ll see you in Dallas.
