I am known as Joe “Crash” Kelley. Most recently I was Director of Programming at Starlite Radio Group's cluster in Corpus Christi, TX for Hot AC KLTG “The Beach 96.5: and CHR-R KLHB “Wild 105-5. I returned in January and increased the ratings on both stations in the Spring Book. I also developed a strategic partnership with a local Podcast and leading Digital producer to make our stations a full service digital/broadcast marketing platform. Downsized due to Covid-19.
Before that, I was Operations Manager at Cumulus Broadcasting's Melbourne, FL cluster which includes CHR WA1A, Classic Rock WROK, Country WHKR and a Sports AM. My afternoon drive airshift was #1 W 25-54 in a very competitive market. I left to return to Corpus Christi.
I spent 4 years in Corpus Christi Before that as Corporate PD English stations for Tejas Broadcasting where I oversaw 14 stations in 4 markets and did afternoons, imaging and everything else on KLTG our highly successful Hot AC. While here then, I became the #1 Top Grossing Remote talent in the market and won prestigious People's Choice Awards as Top Local Show Host”, “Top Radio Host “and my station won the award for “Best Local Radio Station.
I also did 3 years as Operations Manager for Fayetteville/Ft. Smith Arkansas for Cumulus from 2012-2015. That included PD duties at CHR KMCK Fayetteville and CHR-R KBBQ Ft. Smith. Afternoon Air Talent on KMCK/KBBQ. I also
oversaw Rock KKEG, Sports KQSM, Hot AC KRMW, News/Talk KYNG-AM KFAY-AM Country KAMO. and Ft. Smith Classic Country KOMS Produced imaging for KMCK/KBBQ.
While there we produced such world class events as the “World's Largest Babyshower” the Annual “Canned Food Campout” and “Wingapooloza”
I am available now and ready to re-locate anywhere in the U.S.
