Given the rate of change from technology that’s impacting the broadcast industry, our annual treks to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas each January are more relevant and important than ever. For the past four years, we have created curated tours for broadcasters that have proved to be a unique and valuable way to get a glimpse of the future. We will be visiting new exhibits this year to ensure this year’s tour is cutting-edge, emphasizing innovation that will impact the radio broadcasting industry. Last year, we featured both Amazon and Google (who we hope to visit again this year), as well as automotive exhibits and new, cutting-edge technologies like AI.
The first portion of our private tours are limited to 15 guests and led by an expert employed by the Consumer Technology Association. We then take each group to additional exhibits. When we visit each display, an executive from that company walks us through their technology and takes questions, making this a truly customized experience.
The tours are Wednesday and Thursday, January 8-9, 2020. The package includes CES registration, the tour, and a private dinner with all attendees, co-hosted with the Radio Advertising Bureau. We also provide our guests with additional recommendations on how they can make their time in Las Vegas valuable, since CES is such a massive event.
Any broadcast radio executive is welcome, including members of your team in management, programming, sales, engineering, and digital. In this way, you can experience the tour with other key people in your company or send others in your organization who would benefit from the experience, along with meeting other broadcasters from commercial radio, public radio, and Christian radio in a comfortable, collegial setting.
The cost for the entire package is $1,750 for Jacobs Media clients and $1,950 for non-clients. Attendees are responsible for air fare and hotel, but we have been able to procure a room block at the MGM Grand and Bellagio at a discounted rate. Availability is limited, so please contact us as soon as possible.
